Ed Bernstein
Ed started his career in the toy distribution industry back in the late 70's. Working in management, he saw the advent of video games and the personal computer. Ed created a new division for Federal Wholesale Toy that specialized in computer hardware and software. In 1986, he left the company as Vice President to pursue the opportunity of starting his own company, specializing in the personal computer industry. Ed met Brian in 1988 and together they started Avanti Technology. "The more Avanti continues to grow, the more thankful I become for having a strong management background". Besides managing personnel, Ed is involved in overseeing sales and personally calls on Ingram Micro.
Brian Puccineill
Brian graduated from CSULB in 1986 with a communications degree. He immediately began his career in the computer business as an Account Rep for Merisel (AKA: Softsel). At Merisel, Brian quickly made a name for himself, having won four consecutive quarterly awards as "Top Sales". Shortly thereafter, he met Ed and together they created Avanti Technology. "I impress upon our sales people that the key to Avanti's success is maintaining strong relationships. With this philosophy in mind, Avanti has increased its' sales to record levels on an annual basis".
Lynn Swanson National Account Manager
Lynn came to Avanti with several years of experience as a Manufacturers Rep as well as background in national account management for an computer accessory manufacturer. She has been with Avanti since 1995, specializing in national and CMD accounts.
Erin McMurry, VAR/Corporate Sales
Erin has eight years of sales and marketing experience with the past five
years as a Regional Sales Manager in the Southern Calfornia VAR Division at
Ingram Micro. At Ingram, her group was resonsible for $130 million in
annual revenue. This experience has given Erin a very broad understanding of
the reseller and manufacturing business models with a focus on the
purchasing and marketing functions of this industry.
